Get your body ready for swimsuit season

With summer just around the corner, you will soon be pulling out the swimsuit and heading out in the sun for some fun.  Getting into your swimsuit for the first time of the season can be very intimidating, and even more so after giving birth to a child.
Despite your best efforts with exercise and diet to get swimsuit-ready, you may still feel like there are some areas that could use some improvement.  Luckily, there are some fairly simple procedures and treatments that can help to improve trouble areas and help you to feel comfortable in that swimsuit once again.  Some of the possible procedures you may want to consider could include breast augmentation, a breast lift, tummy tuck, or liposuction.  These procedures all help improve unwanted sagginess and can help reshape areas that were impacted the hardest during pregnancy.

These options can specifically target the areas that may be cause for concern when sporting your favorite new swimsuit and other summer attire.  Whether it is relaxing and sunbathing on your favorite beach with your little one, or engaging in your favorite active water sport with friends, feeling comfortable and proud in your swimwear should be a top priority this summer, and obtaining that body may be a lot easier than you originally thought.

A few extra steps can make plastic surgery recovery quick and easy

When preparing for any plastic surgery procedure there are some simple things you can do to prepare yourself.  The first step is to make sure you feel comfortable with the decision and are as stress free as possible.  Stress puts unneeded pressure on the body which can make it slower to recover.  Research relaxation methods such as deep breathing or meditation practices.  Remember that doubt the day prior to any procedure is normal and it’s best to plan on ways to cope with it.

Avoiding smoking and drinking two weeks prior to the procedure will also help speed up the recovery.  This can obviously be difficult for some people to do but will provide positive results for the sacrifice.

It’s also important to check your refrigerator.  This might sound weird, but healthy eating is critical to recovery so make sure you have the right foods before hand.

Arranging for someone to be close by during recovery is also important.  This will help limit stress and make it easier for you to rest.  They can also help with any emotions that can arise from surgery.  Doing these things will make it possible for you to enjoy your new look more quickly.

Covering up immediately after plastic surgery can help you feel more comfortable.

Many people are improving their appearance with plastic surgery and winter is a great time to go for it.  Most people are home more in the winter and able to take time off more easily.  The cold also limits many activities.  This makes it easier to recover from any procedure that is done.

Most any plastic surgery will require a small amount of time for recovery and cause some bruising which many may prefer to avoid being seen with.  Since people are less active and not out as often in the winter they are able to limit their exposure with the bruises.

If they do need to be seen in public there are some easy ways to cover the blemishes up.  Normal concealer can work wonders on lighter bruisers.  Products such as Dermablend to cover facial and neck marks or Kat Von D tattoo concealer which can cover large marks.  Erase Paste by Benefit can also work when using it in combination with foundation makeup.  If the bruises still need a little bit more then consider trying a mauve lipstick with concealer under.  Bruise covering kits are also available.

By trying some of these things people are able to still be active without having to continually explain what the bruises are from.

When is the best time for plastic surgery and what are ways to make it easier?

The best time for any plastic surgery is during the fall and winter months.  This is due to the down time for recovery. Having to stay indoors during the spring and summer months makes recovery more difficult to endure, especially when you know everyone else is out enjoying the warm weather. Also, if you get surgery during the fall or winter it is much easier to conceal swelling and bruising with clothing.

Surgery can be unpleasant during any season.  The pain and downtime can be trying and no fun at all. So what do you do after the surgery is over?  How do you make it easier and turn it into a positive experience?  Getting home after the surgery can leave you wanting to crawl into bed and sleep the pain away.  Here are some ideas and steps to make the recovery time easier and a much more pleasant experience.  1) Plan your healing process in advance.  Make sure you get plenty of rest and eat right even months before your procedure. This will help with a faster healing time.  2) Follow your doctor’s orders with stopping any medications or supplements before surgery.  3) During your pre-op visit make sure you have all your questions answered about the procedure and the healing time.  4) Plan your schedule ahead of time allowing yourself the appropriate amount of time to heal without having a full schedule.  5) Prepare to have someone help you the first 24-48 hours after surgery.  6) Always follow your doctor’s guidelines on when and how long to apply ice after the surgery to help with pain and swelling.  7) Drink plenty of fluids and eat a well-balanced diet to assist and help with the recovery after surgery.  8) Communicate with friends, family, and your doctor about any concerns or feelings you might be having after surgery.

Also, remember that the healing process takes time.  Don’t over exert yourself too quickly.  Have some personal time by reading a book, or catching up on a series on Netflix. Remember why you wanted the procedure done in the first place and know that the pain won’t last forever. The procedure and time for recovery is for you and your healing shouldn't be rushed or disturbed.

Give the gift of cosmetic surgery this Christmas!

It is that time again! The time for giving and sharing with friends and family.  Many times a person is left not knowing what to get that special someone.  You could buy clothing, but that may be returned.  Maybe even a gift card, but this can feel impersonal and the easy way out.  Jewelry can always be an option, but how often will it be worn?  A great idea and one that most any person would love is the gift of youth.  Well, at least a gift of helping with the appearance of youth.  Cosmetic surgery is a gift many might not think of giving, but will always be appreciated.  Sometimes it can be a joint gift between husband and wife, mother and daughter, or boyfriend and girlfriend.

As we age, we start to get lines where we did not have them before, or we might sag in places that do not look so pleasant.  Many people want to reverse this process, but might not want to take the time for cosmetic surgery, or might feel guilty about using time and money for themselves.  But why shouldn't we spoil ourselves?  Just like anything that gets old and starts to show its age, we want to improve upon it.  There shouldn't be any negative feelings or reprimand of any kind.  We deserve the best and the way we look should be the way you desire to look.

The holidays are a great time for cosmetic surgery.  It allows time to heal and often we are not as busy during the winter months.  Wearing more clothing will hide the swelling and bruising that can result from cosmetic surgery.  After the cold weather leaves and the warm weather returns you will have a body that will be fun to show off!

Give the amazing gift of cosmetic surgery this year and enjoy the years of having your loved one looking as good as they feel!

Why you should have breast augmentation

The overall physical appearance of a woman is vital to her self-confidence and self-image.
Choosing breast augmentation can help women feel more comfortable and confident.
This is a major step for women and usually one that creates a lot of positives. It is one
decision however, that needs to be made with self-awareness and a solid understanding of
every option available. There are many different reasons to get breast enhancement and
they vary for every woman. Many women have breasts that never develop (called
micromastia) and are basically two nipples on a flat chest. Breast enhancement helps
them feel more feminine and confident. They no longer have to fear shopping for clothes
that just will not fit. Other Women are simply looking for more fullness or better balance
in their figure. It is tough for Women to feel confident when they View their bodies as
having a deformity, regardless of how minor it may be. By choosing to get breast
augmentation Women are able to feel more comfortable in all their activities. They do
not feel self-conscience shopping, wearing swimsuits, and when interacting with people.
An important distinction to remember is that breast augmentation is different than a
breast lift. Having breast enhancements done will not lead to saggy or droopy breasts. When
deciding what is best for you make sure to consult with a qualified plastic surgeon who
is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery.

You have choices when getting breast augmentation

Once you have decided to have breast augmentation there are some choices to make.
One of the decisions is which type of augmentation to have. There are three
augmentation choices: autologous fat, silicone implants or saline implants. Each choice
has pluses and minuses, but the most popular options are using either silicone or saline
implants. Enhancements done with autologous fat can work, but may carry more risks
when compared to silicone or saline implants. Potential factors such as being less
predictable, longer surgery times, and limited size increases are all reasons that make
silicone or saline implants the better choice. Which implant is better depends on each
person. Both types of implants have silicone shells, but internally are different. Silicone
implants are generally considered to have a more natural feel and look compared to the
saline option. This makes them especially ideal for women with a modest amount of
volume in the breast. However, the silicone implants may have a higher rate of capsular
contracture, they cost substantially more, and require a larger incision for placement
compared to saline implants. Another factor is that you must be at least 22 years-old to
get the silicone implants compared to a minimum of 18 years-old for saline.
